Style Inspiration Linda Rodin

Linda Rodin’s personal style is amazing, classically understated and effortlessly chic with a hint of eclecticism. Linda is a NYC based fashion stylist who’s clientele includes the likes of Revlon, Victoria Secrets, Halle Berry and Adriana Lima to name a few and she also recently started a skin care line of home-developed products called Rodin olio lusso. Judging by her glowing complexion (she’s 60 something mind you and says she wears no makeup with the exception of lipstick) and the A-list of devotees the line already has, it might be worth checking out. What an amazing style inspiration and business woman. Got to love it.

Angela Molina for Bazaar Espana

Gorgeous 56-year-old Spanish actress Angelina Molina snagged the April 2012 cover of Bazaar Espana. I think this cover is absolutely stunning and I like the natural vibe. It also doesn’t appear to be photo-shopped into oblivion which is kind of cool for a change. Wouldn’t it be nice to see stunners of all ages gracing the covers of magazines here in the states too? What do you think?

Mature Style

As a wardrobe stylist I often hear women past a certain age expressing concern over wearing bold or trendy pieces for fear of looking silly. Complete hogwash, you don’t have to be a teeny bopper to enjoy the latest trends.

Trends are for everyone and women should never sacrifice style or looking great because of age or size for that matter (which I see often). The key is good fit, paying attention to what does or does not work for your body type and learning how to mix trends or bold pieces into your look rather then wearing them head to toe, so you look stylish and not costumey. This woman is a perfect example of how women of any age can enjoy the latest trends while still looking appropriate and dare I say, fly!
